Monstera Deliciosa 'Cream Cheese' - Bare Bottom Baby - sale
Description
Monstera ‘Cream Cheese’ is a highly sought-after variegated form known for its soft, creamy-toned marbling and more subtle contrast compared to high-white cultivars. The foliage displays a blend of mid-green and buttery cream variegation, often appearing as fine marbling or washed sectors rather than bold block patterns.
Leaves develop the classic Monstera deliciosa form as they mature, with fenestrations (splits and holes) becoming more pronounced when grown under optimal conditions with support. The overall look is softer and more blended than varieties like Albo or Thai Constellation, making it a desirable option for collectors wanting a more refined variegation style.
Variegation can vary from leaf to leaf and may shift over time, with some leaves showing heavier cream expression and others reverting more green.
Indoor Care Guide
Light
Bright, indirect light is ideal. Adequate light helps maintain variegation, but avoid harsh direct sun which can burn the lighter sections of the leaves.
Watering
Water when the top few centimetres of soil have dried out. Keep soil evenly moist but not saturated.
Humidity
Performs well in average indoor humidity but will benefit from higher humidity for optimal growth and larger foliage.
Temperature
Best kept between 18–28°C. Avoid cold conditions and sudden temperature drops.
Soil
Use a well-draining, chunky indoor plant mix to ensure good airflow around the roots.
Feeding
Apply a balanced liquid fertiliser during active growth periods to support healthy development.
Growth Habit
A climbing plant that will produce larger, more fenestrated leaves when given a moss pole or support.
