Alocasia scalprum 'Mint'

Light
Bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the delicate variegated foliage, while insufficient light may reduce the intensity of the mint colouring.

Water
Keep the soil lightly moist but never waterlogged. Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil begins to dry, allowing excess water to drain away freely.

Humidity
Prefers high humidity of 60% or greater. A humidifier, enclosed cabinet, or pebble tray will help maintain healthy growth and prevent leaf edges from browning.

Temperature
Thrives in temperatures between 18–28°C. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C, as Alocasias are sensitive to the cold.

Soil
Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix containing orchid bark, perlite, and quality potting mix to provide excellent drainage while retaining some moisture.

Fertiliser
Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a diluted liquid fertiliser formulated for indoor foliage plants. Reduce feeding during the cooler months when growth slows.
