Anthurium Papillilaminum x Ace of Spades - Bare Bottom Baby

Anthurium papillilaminum × ‘Ace of Spades’ is a striking hybrid prized for its dark, velvety foliage. Its heart-shaped leaves may emerge in bronze or burgundy tones before maturing to deep green-black, beautifully highlighted by contrasting pale veins. As a seed-grown hybrid, each plant is unique and may vary in colour, shape and veining.

Light
Bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sunlight.

Water
Allow the top few centimetres of soil to dry before watering. Avoid overwatering or leaving the plant sitting in water.

Humidity
Prefers high humidity of 60% or above with good airflow.

Temperature
Ideal temperature is 18–28°C. Protect from cold temperatures and draughts.

Soil
Use a loose, well-draining aroid mix containing orchid bark, perlite, coco coir and charcoal.

Fertiliser
Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser at half strength every 2–4 weeks during the warmer growing months.
