Philodendron erubescens ‘Red Heart’

A rare collector’s Philodendron admired for its heart-shaped foliage and deep red colouring through the centre of the leaves. New growth may show rich red to pink tones before maturing darker green. Best grown indoors in bright, filtered light with warmth and good airflow.

Light
Bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sun.

Water
Allow the top few centimetres of mix to dry before watering. Do not let it sit wet.

Humidity
Prefers moderate to high humidity, ideally above 50%.

Temperature
Keep warm, around 18–27°C. Protect from cold draughts.

Soil
Use a chunky, free-draining aroid mix with bark, perlite and quality potting mix.

Fertiliser
Feed lightly during the warmer growing months.

Additional Information
Toxic if ingested. Keep away from pets and children. Use a support pole if it begins to climb.
